Oracle now has a common analytics platform called Data Intelligence platform to support different domains - Fusion or Utilities applications. This blog provides an overview of the platform and breaks down its key components.

The platform comes in different versions supporting Fusion and Utilities applications:

This Data Intelligence platform architecture leverages the latest Oracle technologies, streamlining data pipelines and reporting processes, ensuring both efficiency and accuracy. Uses OAC and ADW

Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse work together to help businesses make better use of their data. The Autonomous Datawarehouse complements this with self-driving, self-securing, and self-repairing features, reducing manual management tasks. Data Augmentation and Data Extensibility  

The data intelligence platform comes with Data Augmentation and Data Extensibility capabilities. These features help businesses improve and customize their data, leading to better insights and more personalized analysis. In the data intelligence platform, The Oracle Managed and Customer Managed models can seamlessly coexist, offering flexibility for users. This solution provides a unified reporting platform that integrates both out-of-the-box (OOTB) and the custom data from both on-premises systems or cloud applications. You can create new models using a semantic framework, making it easy to tailor insights to your needs. Additionally, you have the option to extend Oracle Content or integrate your own custom models, ensuring that your analytics environment is fully aligned with your organization’s unique requirements and goals. Security

Data Intelligence platform security is integrated with Identity Management in OCI. It has the capability to implement Role-based access control (RBAC), Data-level security. Sensitive data can also be encrypted using different encryption methodologies.

Another feature is the Audit trails and logging. These are crucial components of the Data Intelligence security, providing visibility into user activities and system events. Audit trail features User Activity tracking, Change logging and System event logging. Audit trails and logging in this platform not only enhance security but also provide valuable insights for troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
